The Strength of Child

Your so small and beautiful,
So unaware how I feel,
The pain I am living with,
The way I have to deal.

But each morning I am woken now,
The first sound is your voices,
Your eyes locked on me as I lie there,
As mummy makes all the choices.

Physically you are weak,
You fall at a flinch,
Alot of objects are too heavy for you,
You cry from the pain of a pinch.

But I wanted you to know babies,
That although you are so small,
You have given mummy strength,
To suceed and stand tall.

You have pushed me and pushed me,
My determination is all for you,
My perspective is changing,
I have a clearer view.

So when we stand together,
In five or ten years time,
And I'm asked "How did you do it?"
With a smile i'll say "It was the strength of those children of mine!
